English Muffin Baked Sandwiches are simple, tasty, and incredibly easy to make. My family enjoys them several times a month, and yours likely will too.

Quick, kid-friendly, and delicious recipes are my go-to. With three kids, meals like this make weeknights and busy mornings much easier.
The combinations are endless: use mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, Swiss, or any favorite cheese.
The same flexibility applies to deli meats — roast beef, ham, turkey, chicken, or Canadian bacon all work well. I’ve made variations with each, and they’re all budget-friendly and satisfying.
These sandwiches travel well for lunch and make a great grab-and-go breakfast for busy families.

You can also change direction and use leftover chicken, burger patties, or other cooked meats to create sliders or hearty sandwiches.
Below is a simple, tasty method for English Muffin Baked Sandwiches that your family will enjoy. Happy cooking!

Easy, tasty and quick English Muffin Baked Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 6 English Muffins
- 6 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 6 slices Canadian bacon, thick cut (about 6 oz / 170 g) or other deli meat
- 6 slices cheese (provolone, cheddar, or a mix)
- 1 tablespoon garlic herb butter, melted
- 1/2 tablespoon yellow mustard (about 9 g)
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon lemon-black pepper seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Split the English muffins and place them cut-side up in a non-stick baking pan. Lightly grease the pan or line it with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
- Spread about 1 tablespoon of softened cream cheese on each muffin bottom. Top with Canadian bacon and a slice of cheese, then place the muffin tops on.
- In a small bowl, melt the garlic herb butter (20–30 seconds in the microwave). Stir in the yellow mustard, dried parsley, and lemon-black pepper seasoning if using.
- Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the English muffins.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the muffins for 10–12 minutes, checking after 10 minutes. For a crunchier top, bake up to 15 minutes depending on your oven and preference.
- Serve the sandwiches hot, with salad or your choice of side.
Notes
You can swap in other deli meats, cooked chicken, burger meat, or bacon. Any cooked meat works well. Use whatever cheese you prefer to customize the sandwiches to your taste.
