Hello everyone. I’m Shirley — daughter of Lee and Brendan. Lee, my web manager, looks after this blog and is incredibly kind. He lets me be the star and takes care of the things I don’t handle, like preparing my meals and warming them in the microwave for 30 seconds because cold food makes me shiver.

Favourite food: I adore meaty dishes and chicken. I beg and stare when you’re eating. I love parmesan and pecorino, though they upset my tummy, so I only get them on special occasions. I don’t like fish, peas or carrots—don’t try to hide them in my food; I will refuse to eat them.
Favourite things to do: I enjoy walks, the desert, the water and visiting shops. I’m most playful between 8–10pm when everyone is winding down. I also love sleeping pressed up against my daddy, Lee.
Friends I have: My pals Bernie and Roscoe are great. The love of my life is Henry from the park 😍.
Least favourite things to do: Having my hair brushed, brushing my teeth, and above all, baths.
Things that scare me: Lots of things — I’m easily startled.
Things that I hate: Other dogs getting close to my daddies, small children and toddlers, and many other annoyances.
